10k starts at 10 am, fun run at 9:15 am

Race entry fee is £19.

Members of a UKA affiliated club receive a £2 discount on their entry fee.

Entry to the Birchwood 10k is online only through our race partners, Motiv Sports UK, part of the Active Network.

The closing date for race entries is 16th August 2018, and there will be no entries on the day.

Special Offer - Combined Entry with EHM Race for a 20% Discount

We are pleased to again offer reduced-price joint entry with the English Half Marathon or EHM 10k races.

The EHM Half Marathon and 10k take place on Sunday September 16th, and you can get 20% off the cost of entry to the Birchwood 10k and either of these races when you register for them together.

Refund policy

Entry fees are not refundable in the event of race cancellation in exceptional circumstances.

If you enter the race and are unable to run for whatever reason, we are unable to offer refunds or allow deferment to the following year.

We will, however, be very happy to arrange the transfer of your race to another runner.

Transfer of Race Entries

Spectrum Striders RC will allow runners to transfer their race number to another runner provided they tell us in advance of the race.

Transfers MUST be notified and arranged by the race organisers, Spectrum Striders. Please do not just give your entry to another runner as this is against UKA rules. Runners who are found to have given their entry to another runner without formally transferring it in advance will be disqualified.

If you want to transfer your entry to another runner, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to send us an e-mail and we'll process your request as soon as possible.

You need to include the following information for both the runner who originally entered and for the runner who it is being transferred to:

1. Full name
2. Date of birth
3. Male or female
4. Club (if applicable)
5. E-mail address

Remember: we need this information for both people!

This e-mail must come from the runner who did the original entry, not from the runner to whom it is being transferred!

We would much prefer all changes to get to us before the closing date, but we accept changes up to race day. On the day changes may be possible, but please arrive at Race HQ early! We can't guarantee that late changes will be correct in the on-the-day results, although we will make every effort to have correct names in the final results.

There is no charge for making a transfer, unless we incur extra costs such as a replacement chip. We want to see the right names against the runners in the results.
