The run is organised this year by Sue Buck

I'm organising the annual trail run round Frodsham and Helsby Hills with our friends at Helsby RC.  The route is either 7 or 14 miles long depending on the number of laps you choose to do.

We all meet at the Bulls Head pub in Frodsham at either 8:45am (14 miles) or 10:15am (7 miles).

The route is 80% off road and best run in fell shoes or trail shoes as it is usually muddy.

The first lap will start at 9am prompt so please arrive by 8:45am if you are doing 2 laps (i.e. 14 miles).

If you come to do only the 2nd lap (i.e. 7 miles), then please arrive by 10:15am to set off promptly at 10:30am.

The earlier group will come back to the pub, stop for a few minutes for a drink or ditch some clothing, pick up any late arrivals or slightly faster runners from the pub car park and then set off to catch the others.

To ensure everyone gets food relatively quickly we need to pre-order your food choice, via Sue.  If you don’t pre-order you will still be able to choose from the pub menu but you will be served after the rest of us (and it will probably cost more).  So those who order will get priority service.

To give choice I have asked for 3 meal options, including chips:

1. Chilli and rice
2. Veggie Curry
3. Meat lasagne.

Cost is £7 and for simplicity you can pay on the day.  I have provisionally booked 20 places.

There are options for partners just to go for a walk nearby if they want to come but don’t want to run.  Please let me know if you or your partner just want to walk.  The main thing, however, is we know that you want to join us to eat and what you want.

Please let me know ASAP, but the last date to accept the food pre-order is Sunday 13-Dec-2015.
