Sunday 19-Oct-2014, start 10am: British Fell Relay Championships
The event was on the Middleton and Barbon Fells in East Cumbria. This is about 6 miles from Sedbergh to the north and Kirkby Lonsdale to the south.
Well done to everyone who represented the club at this years Fell Relays. Particular thanks to Julian who once again spent hours on the phone organising the teams and didn't even get to run this year!

Sunday 25-Oct-2014 at 5:49pm: Dusk 'til Dawn Ultra race (Hope, Derbyshire)
This is a 50 mile race with 9000ft of ascent, run entirely at night. It starts at sunset (5:49pm) and the challenge is to finish by sunrise (6:52am) – a total of 14hr 3min. To make it more difficult, there was almost no moonlight this year.
Well done to Dave Hudd who finished well within the target time.

- Mick Charman's time of 12:45 was a new Club MV65 record, beating Alan Peers' time of 13:07 set at the Club Track Day 3k on 18-Aug-2009.

This event was held in Sefton Park in Liverpool on a 9.8k course. It was previously called the UK Cross Challenge and is also the European Cross Country trials.

Sunday 30-Nov-2014 at 10am: NWSCCL #2 at Arrowe Park on the Wirral
Congratulations to Spectrum Striders women for their second win (in 2 races) this year.
This was race 2 in the North West Sunday Cross Country League and was organised by Pensby Runners. It was at the usual venue in Arrowe Park on the Wirral.
The course was 4.83 miles according to Chris' GPS. The course was slightly changed this year, a bit longer and was run in the opposite direction. It was muddy underfoot but a nice bright day.
