– Data Protection

The information you provide will be used for club purposes only as described in our Privacy Policy.
For your rights as a data subject, please refer also to our Data Protection Statement – both documents are publicly available on the Spectrum Striders website.

– England Athletics

Spectrum Striders is affiliated with England Athletics, the national body for the sport. Through the club, you can become a registered member of England Athletics (EA) and take advantage of a range of benefits and services. One of which is a reduction of £2 on all race entry fees. The club pays EA on your behalf and takes care of your registration. For more information on England Athletics follow this link: Benefits of Athletic Registration.

The England Athletics Registration is additional to the Club membership fee, the cost of which is shown in the Table Of Fees section below.

If you only want to run in internal club events or train with us you do not need this. Note that, if you have a family membership, you need to pay one EAs Registration fee for each person aged over 11 who wants to race.
This EA Registration fee needs to be added to your club subscription when you are working out what your total subscription fee will be. Obviously, if you have no intention of competing then you can leave off this registration fee.

– Social Media

I hereby give permission to be photographed and/or filmed when with Spectrum Striders RC. All images will be solely used to promote the club in Spectrum Striders RC material (print, publicity, archive, website, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook)

– Membership Year

Membership runs from April 1st to March 31st the following year. Payment of fees can be made from March 1st and all fees due must be paid by June 1st at the latest.

Membership Application

Acceptance of this application is subject to approval by the Club General Committee.

Note that Membership is dependent on agreeing to the England Athletics Codes of Conduct.

In the unlikely event of the application being rejected, all fees will be returned.
