Club welfare
Our Welfare Officers

Hi,
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves as Spectrum Striders Welfare officers. Both of us are regular runners and have been members of the club for many years. We each have experience and backgrounds that help support our welfare role within the club. All Spectrum Strider’s welfare policies follow the guidance and advice of UK Athletics best practices for safeguarding.
We are both here to support our members and the committee in ensuring our club is an inclusive, safe, and friendly environment for all our members. Spectrum Striders wants everyone to enjoy their time training at the club. We will do our best to make this a safe and welcoming place for all of our members.
We are a friendly and inclusive running club and are England Athletics affiliated. As a result of this all our members, (and any guests joining us) are governed by the codes of conduct stipulated by EA whilst undertaking any club activities . The codes of conducts below apply to all members regardless of whether they hold an EA registration .
Please follow this link for more information.
We would welcome your feedback regarding a well-being issue you’d like to raise, or if you have a more serious safeguarding concern.
You can speak to us in confidence directly or fill in our welfare form below.
Please be reassured that we are here to help and any information will be handled sensitively
Happy running!
Vince and Jo
