Fancy dress is preferred, although you can get away with a Santa hat. Also, you get some sweets from Santa at the summit!

Start/finish: About ¾ mile away in Hill End Road, off the A681 (Bacup Road). Mostly downhill to the start!

It is close to Beacon Country Park where the Skem cross country is held – carry on up Beacon Lane and the pub is on your right. It is about 30 mins drive from Birchwood.
